Brett Favre During Vikings Game

I’m sure I’m not the only one ‘shocked’ by Brett Favre and his re-re-retirement from football. Although he hasn’t confirmed anything to anyone yet, he supposedly told his teammates and coach yesterday that he intended on retiring. Sure he’s a good player, yep he’s helped the Vikings, but does anyone else think he’s a drama queen? I mean how many times has he ‘retired’ again?

Although his family has denied all reports of his retirement, Favre has yet a decision to make that has the whole world — or ESPN world, waiting.

And let’s not forget who started this whole fun fest. ESPN’s whole day yesterday was dedicated to Favre. Actually, yesterday on Sports Nation, they had a whole party for Brett Favre. I don’t think any one was happier then the folks at ESPN. Well, maybe it might’ve been a big birthday present for Tom Brady, but that’s a different story.

Can it get any better than this for Farve?  Oh wait maybe sending some ‘X-Rated’ photos to model, Jenn Sterger, could add on to the pressure of the end of his career. Sterger had stated previously that she was getting flirty voicemails and calls from Favre but, that went to the extreme when he sent her a picture of himself..well masturbating while wearing nothing but, and wait for this, Crocs. That’s right, plastic clogs. After receiving the picture, Sterger said that she threw it across her room because she was so shocked. Maybe if he didn’t have the Crocs on it would’ve been more effective? Let me just remind you guys that Favre is a 40-year-old married man, who happens to have two kids.

Any who, if this doesn’t end Favre’s career than maybe his ankle injury might. Favre is scheduled to meet his Doctor next week to check on his ankle, which he hurt at the NFC championship game loss in New Orleans.

Brett Favre sure does have a lot going on right now, I don’t know how he does it. I’m not sure about you guys, but I personally think that this is all a sign for him to officially end his career. Who knows, maybe he’ll be able to star in the next ‘Old Spice’ commercial. That’s something I know everyone would love to see.
